diffusers are for curly hair- it allows you to dry your hair and not make it so frizzy

if you do any sort of attachment to your blowdryer i would get the one with the little slit in it and use that against a brush (pointless to use unless you pair it with a brush)

if you are wanting to keep the frizz down when drying your straight hair, then use a "serum" like Biosilk before you blowdry (many salons have little sample size bottles for about $1-$4 you only need about a dime-size drop to smooth over your hands then finger through your hair.)

its very important to have the right angle when you blowdry as well.

if you blow dry your hair in sections (working your way from bottom to top) in a downward air movement that will help to keep it straight.

if you blow dry all over randomly its going to push those shorter hairs right on up making them unruly.

yup, it wont give you brilliant curles, but! it will give you nice waves, and reduce frizz!

well its pointless on straight hair.....the purpose is to dry curly hair without making it huge and frizzy...and it takes longer....no point really

Yes it will work. Because my hair isnt really curly its more on the wavy side and I use a diffuser and it works great. I use this gel called "Hard Curl" by Garnier Frutise its in a green container.

Oh yes indeed... it will give you more volume and body you need. I can't use it, I must blow dry with round boar hair brush in order to get my very thick/frizzy/curly/wavy hair to flatten. I have TOO MUCH hair. Heh! Have fun!
