Ditto to the answer above me. But also, its whats in fashion or what everyone else is doing. If a whole bunch of people are straightening their hair, then you dont want to be left out so your straighten your hair too. I personally dont do that because I am perfectly fine with my long black wavy hair.

I think everyone wants something they dont' have. I have natural thick curly hair and I staighten it all the time. I hate curly hair (on me). Everyone loves my curly hair, but I disagree.
