I really hate to say this but it completely depends on what was used to relax it with. You see the relaxer is still a chemical in your hair and to mix it with another chemical could be disastrous. I mean you have to be mega careful or you can cause it to break off right at the scalp. I personally would recommend a good curling iron because it isn't permanent. I know you want more but you likely have nice hair now so its not worth hurting it. Of course the best is seek professional help but yes that can get expensive.

You can do it at home with a curling iron and lots of hair spray. You have to spray the hair when still rolled in the iron. When you finish with all the curls spray again and voila!!! You have curly hair that will last for hours!!!. Or if you like the "wet look" buy hair gel, the heavy duty one, and roll your locks of hair on those foamy rollers with the hair already gelled. Wait until the hair is dry to take the rollers off.
