Okay, i'll tell you how to get scrunched waves, but it's not easy. You have to get out of the shower, and put mousse in your hair to make it a little crispy. Dry it on a low setting and "scrunch" your hair as you do it. After you're done and your have piecey hair, curl individual pieces with a curling iron (and you'll have to use one). Curl some more than others and some only a little. Spray with high hold hairspray and put a tiny amount of mousse in your newly curly hair. And I mean tiny! If you don't want to go through this all the time, get a semi permanant wave at a salon. That will make your hair curly, but it'll wash out, unlike perms which have to grow out.

after u get out of the shower at night brush ur hair wail its still wet then trow ot in a spiral bun sleep with it then in the morning spray it with hair spray

ok, none of the ways so far are the actual way. here is the step by step. HOPE IT HELPS!

1.take a shower

2. brush your hair out.

3. keep your hair wet.

4. towel dry your hair a little so its SOAKING

5. seperate your hair into sections

6. squirt gel into your hair, and starting from the bottom of your hair, hold and release your hand around your hair and push up towards the scalp/roots. after that you can hairspray if you really want it to stay.

7. when your completed with your total head of hair, blow dry it and it will stay a really long time!

if you want more specific if that didnt help, type "scrunching hair" in on google or yahoo. they give really specific instructions! thats how i learned!

putting curl-enhancing cream in your hair while it's still wet and scrunching it with gel or curl-enhancing spray works well.
