I have normal wavy hair. Its gets sorta curled up whenever its wet. I'll spend a good ammount of time straightening it, until its perfect. I wait for the bus for like 15 minutes and once I look in the mirror.. curly.

I think its the humidity making mine curly but other ppl get there hair perfectly straight. (they also wait at the bus stop) I cant stand it.

If you go to a local Beauty supply store- I shop at Sally Beauty supply- you can purchase for around $30 the thermal ionic straightening system-yellow box. I'd suggest that you ask a friend to help you out since the process includes applying the cream, letting it process for 20 mins or so, rinsing it out and then small section by section- flat ironing your hair with a ceramic flat ironer (I'd suggest on that has a 1/2" plate and can be used on wet hair). After 48 hours of NOT washing you hair or getting it wet, your hair will stay straight and waterproof for at LEAST 6 months. I've had it done 6 times now in the past 3 years. You know that happens to me most of the time too. It is the humidity.But I think I would recommend using a hat or beany.That works for me sometimes.

Your right its humidity but one things for sure most everyone has different hair but to keep you sane it happens to other people to.

i have curly hair and have the same problem. but i find that if i put tony %26amp; guy serum on it after straightening it usually works quite well.

You need Japanese hair straightening. I love it. It is a chemical process that helps relax your hair. It is almost a full day process and quite pricey, but it is so worth it because your hair always looks straight and silky and it can last for up to a year depending upon your hair.
