i would actually try spraying a shine serum like got2be dazzling into your hair while it's wet, then blowing it dry with a flat brush.

Apply a heat-protecting spray to your hair, and then straighten it with a flat-iron. But make sure your hair is completely dry first, otherwise it may actually bubble and boil.

some parts just depend on how you also dry your hair... sometimes this works... if you dry your hair and brush it manny times durring it and make sure that your hair at the end is not wet at all, then in the morning straightien your hair and you can use a heat tamer with that so it wont dry out your hair.. it worked for me.. so i hope it'll work for you if you try it!
