What can I do to help my hair stay straight?

Every morning I straigthen my hair and it is perfectly straight before I leave my house. Throughout the course of the next few hours of the morning, my hair becomes frizzy in the back and curly at the ends. I don't know whether this has to do with the weather outside or how my hair falls on my shoulders, but is there anything I can do to keep it STRAIGHT? Would hairspray be a good idea to put on it after I straighten it?

probably not hairspray. i have the same problem, my hair is super curly. ummmmm its best to get a really good straightner like the chi or something. it will keep your hair looking better fo rlonger, but curly hair always get more frizzy and curly in the humidity, even when its straightened.

I often have the same problem. There are probably some sort of styling products that can help, but I keep a blow drier in my gym bag, in my car, and I can use it in the bathroom at work etc... occasionally, or before I leave the office, go out to dinner etc...

I have curly hair too. I use a chi it works AMAZING. I LOVE IT! If your gunna use hairsparay spray it onto yor comb first and then brush that helps flyaways. ask your hair cut person about special products cause they make them but unfortunatey wind and humidity are curly hairs enemy sometimes just wear your hair curly everyone loves when i do plus dont staighen your hair everyday its not good for it good luck

As a tip to get SUPER SUPER straighter hair (those special occasions jeje)閳?apply it on damp hair, then blow dry your hair with a big round brush and then quickly pass over the hair straighter閳?

I have very curly hair myself and all these years I've tried curling iron and blow dryers and nothing worked...My new best friend is the straightener!!! it takes up to 2.5 hrs or more to fix my hair but I can keep it straight for along time as long as it doesn't get wet... anyway maybe you need to straighten it in smaller sections, or maybe get a different iron that is hotter... I put hairspray on it after i iron it but that just keeps the flyaways down. Humidity does have an effect! but if its cold it should hold better. Good luck and let me know what you figure out k.

I also have curly hair that does not like to stay straight. Here is my secret. When you wash your hair use a a straighting shampoo and conditioner (Sammy is a good brand and sold in drug stores) Second: add a straightning balm to your hair when you blow dry it (Joico straight edge is the best). When you flat iorn use a spray or a balm for heat tools to hold it (Joico silk results, Sedu or Chi all are good) lastly add alittle bit of a pomed to it such as the new pantene texturize! or a smothing spray...don't use alot of hairspary only a touch and lastly if your hair is long enogh sleep in a loose ponytail at night! One last thing if you can afford it buy a professional straightner either babyless or chi, they hold better and are worth the money ($50-$120 depending on where you go and who you know!)

apply gel to ur hair, brush, straighten, apply a teeny bit more gel, brush, straighten, and maybe put it in a ponytail. it looks really pretty.my hair is the same way and it's a pain in the butt. u should also use the garnier fructis products or herbal essance. (the straightening products!!!)
