How to get hair flat, straight & silky like coming from the hair salon?

Dont have any cash for OTC products. So I'm looking for somethings I can use that I have in my own home already... CAN YOU HELP...!!!!

My friend has really long, pretty hair and she uses olive oil in it, blow dry it and press %26amp; flat iron. But im not sure people say dont use to much oil it'll weigh it down. So how is it that cometologist get my hair so flat, straight and silky what is there secret...??? Do I need heat protection or could I use olive oil to protect it??

I normally just use a flat iron..but this is what u could do:

1. wash your hair with a straightening shampoo (I use sunsilk)

2. use a good conditioner

5. use a round brush while blow drying ur hair to flatten it

6. use a flat iron for the finishing touch (:

(use heat protecting spray before straightening)

also straighten in layers so its straighter
