How do i get my hair pin straight?

I use a hair straightner everyday but after i'm done using it it looks fine but 5 minutes later [being that my hair is layered] the top layer like folds in and the bottom latter stays straight.

well maybe its your straightener. if it is cheap then your results wont be how u like. try purchasing a chi. they work VERY well but they cost about $100. another option is try putting in a moisturizing cream in your hair before straightening it ( a great one is hang straight by aveda)

you may want to try putting a tiny dab of gel in your hair and making sure that u get in on your ends. good luck! :)

I would say get some top notch straightening gel/foam/spray it really helps and try not to sweat a lot with your hair straight it will fold up.

1 Apply a Heat tamer to protect your hair from damage

2 blow dry your hair with a roundbrush in 2inch sections

3 then flat iron your hair

4 add some shine by using optimum oil therapy

okay. blow dry your hair upside down first after you get out of the shower. then flat iron it, make sure you flat iron is actually good btw, go to a salon and buy one, chi is the best but thats the most expensive but i wouldnt pay less that 75$ (you really do get what you pay for in this case)

then use herbal essences dangerously straight mousse and blowdry your hair upside down again (even though its already dry, it will give you volume and the mousse straightens out your hair)

then flip your hair right side up again and re straighten it

you might want to hairspray it a tiny bit to keep the volume and prevent static, not too much though or itll look like you have bad dandruff!
